Inspired by my little brother’s love of “The Beard” (NBA player James Harden), I illustrated and designed a magazine spread for a class project. It won third in the Society of Publication Designers student competition and was published in Applied Arts Magazine. It was also shortlisted for a Communication Arts competition, won a silver district Addy, then advanced to win a gold Addy at the national level.
